in case you haven't already solved it, i had the saturday la times puzzle; it was a bit of an older freestyle, but still a good puzzle, i think, and worth solving. and if that's not enough, here's another freestyle from me, a lot newer, but also a good one. started with the pair of twelves (one a book i've read recently, the other a book i'm about to read again) and then the sevens intersecting them in the middle; those four entries pretty much dictated the rest of the grid. after that, filled each corner independently, though some of them took more time than others. still, i'm mostly happy with the results, a few cheater squares and a short entry or two notwithstanding. as always, enjoy!
